Lakeland Drag Strip Reunion
A quick note to reveal a surprising announcement. The guys who stage the Muscle Car Reunion & Nostalgia Drags in St. Louis and Kansas City have revealed plans to stage a new event honoring the legacy of Lakeland Drag Strip.
We'll post more information as it become available, but for now, the flyer posted above should provide the basics of what's being planned for the first weekend in November. The race date is coming up pretty quick, but these guys have done this stuff before so it should be a fun time to see some on track action in our area just prior to the annual Memphis Rodders Reunion.
Since we've lost Memphis Motorsports Park, we've lost a lot of racing activities in our area. This is welcome news on more than one front. Keep this on your radar... updates to follow.
