Plan to Attend the 2011 Memphis Rodders Reunion

It's Autumn once again. So now is the time make your plans to attend the 2011 Memphis Rodders Reunion. The usual Thursday before Thanksgiving date is fast approaching, and this year the Reunion will focus it's historical attention on the life and times of self-made performance industry magnate Joe Lunati.

Joe started drag racing as a hobby in 1955. He joined the Memphis Rodders, and was a fixture at the Halls air strip drag races and at Lakeland Drag Strip. He later enjoyed success with his home built Devin bodied A/MSP racer, and before long he was in on the ground floor of the burgeoning funny car revolution. By the end of the 1960's he was grinding high performance camshafts in his home garage and a new company in the high performance industry was born. Joe's new business venture would soon become a dominant influence in the racing world and a main ingredient in the developing cottage industry of high performance companies that have flourished in Memphis since Lunati Cams first opened it's doors.

So reserve your seats now. The Memphis Rodders Reunion will once again take place at the Al Chymia Shriner's Temple, 5770 Shelby Oaks Drive, Memphis TN. The date is set... November 17th 2011. You need to be there to help us celebrate the history of hot rodding, Memphis style. Click this link for registration information.
